Juz found out about this.
Stock evo water spray controller controlled by the ECU.

It takes in 11 parameters before deciding to spray or not.
I only found out a few of these. You can add on if you know others.

1. Speeds above 100km/h = No spray (DUH...go tracking how?)
2. Water temps below 105deg = No spray
3. Switch must set to auto.
4. RPM must exceed 4K RPM.

in the engine bay, Behind the passanger side headlight. the one with the white intercooler sprayer sign. That is where you have to replaces the water for the FMIC sprayer. You would know if you need to repenished the water by a harsh sound coming from the sprayer, when you pressed on the ic button. hope that help..

Dear all,
sorry to hijack this thread but I am on an EVO 9 RS. Recently I realised the water spray is faulty. I tried to turn it on (like what I always do normally) but the light doesnt come on but when I press the manual, I can hear and I am certain the spray is working. Right now, I am not sure whether it is the light on my panel that has fused (which is unlikely again) or the spray is faulty. Anyone knows how I can ascertain the problem and does anyone know of any workshop that has done this water spray controller? Thanks a million in advance.
