how much did C&C quote you? i would suggest that ypu get a 2nd opnion elsewhere. did u try to change & bleed the pump? u do not need a MUT3 to do the bleeding.

a brand new ayc pump cost less than $1800 sgd before freight if u buy overseas.
part number : 3520A045 - AYC hydraulic unit
labour should cost less than 400 including fresh mitsubishi diaqueen atf sp3
all that is required is to unplug the harness clip, remover the hydraulic crimp lines & replace the pump.

do let me know if you need recomendations on where to buy the pump.

alternatively, pass this part number to the mitsu spareparts dept @ Pandan n get them to order, airfreight is 10% of the buying price (duno how much cycle charges but i can check for you)

cheers! :D

Hi DVP, thanks for the detailed info provided....very useful ( Do you work for cycle ? just kidding). i've not asked cycle yet because i know they will be expensive. the price you quoted sounds reasonable cos one of my fren said it could cost > $3000.

i stay in yio chu kang so it'll be convenient if you know any good evo-specialised workshops in my area. but i don't mind going further for good workshops.

thanks again !

$3k? dude, u own & drive a evo to enjoy the power/handling, not to get chopped just becus u own an evo...
if ur car is under warranty, best to speak with them with regards to warranty claim. if warranty period is over, enquire on their selling price. if it's a good deal then go ahead with them as there's after sales warranty on the item replaced...
if the pricing is not attractive then pm me, i will send u the contact to buy the new pump direct from japan
u stay yck? which part? i always see one along Teacher's estate & another on Catus Road

Did you ever suspect that he is the one who writes the Mitsu car owners manual? Mitsu has a budget for him that is why he is restricted to write such a "thin" user manual. In fact the "original" manual is at least 5 times "thicker".

Pocket wise not true, he can make your deep pockets to be like 3 times deeper if proper guidance is provided.
