You are right about the moist DSG on the R35.
If i read it correctly, the advantage of moist clutch is that you do not:
1) Need to have a big pump
2) Reduce drag/transmission loss
3) capable of handling bigger power
But it doesnt say a special trans oil is required to perform the task.
I...
I am still skeptical that a "special" gearbox is used. I mean "sooo Special" that it need a "special" oil? i just dun quite buy it.. how much RND have to go into that to formulate such oil for GTR and GTR ONLY??
I dont have to be in the oil industry or manufacturing to understand that its not...
I think there are a couple of consideration when an individual intends to buy/order the R35.
For me the considerations are as follows:
1) Price
2) Expectation vs Reality
3) Support
Price - Having seen price drop from 300k a car to the current 260k, it seems like the the is finally stablising...
after driving TC cars for years.. i came to realise that having a turbo timer is really not necessary..
The timer is to allow your turbo to 'spool' down after hard driving..
but in normal driving.. u dont need that 'spool'/ 'cool' down effect..
and even for hard street driving.. you will not...
That PI in West Coast rd.. name dun say liao...
so i guess yours is intact...
and the rear diffuser is also there?
I see from pix that only the exhaust pipings are expose... wonder if there is one that can cover up everything..
i was just wondering for those that have collected your car, did you check if the undercover came with it?
I used to have a rex from a PI and they 'cheated' me on my engine undercover.. and it cost 600bucks..
what im really surprise is you din take the car out for a drive when u commited...
Most PI/car dealer would allow once u sign the dotted line.. and you would have found out some of the problem now and insist they fixed it before buying...
i just hope the PI is paying for all these...
gd luck...
